Ability-to-Pay Studies
An ability-to-pay study is often necessary to fight off claims of poverty from the finance director. We understand municipal finance and can provide an accurate representation of an employer's ability to fund increases in compensation and benefits. If our research reveals that the employer is in dire straits and cannot afford to increase compensation without reducing services to citizens, we will report that, however, this is seldom the case. Most government organizations manage finances in a way as to appear destitute when in fact the money is just being provided to alternate programs, demonstrating the true priorities of the agency.
