POLICEPAY.NET offers a variety of negotiation services for public safety contract negotiations for employers and public safety employee groups alike. All of our services are available to either group during contract negotiations. We can be hired by the employee group, the employer, or even both at the same time. Click on any of the contract negotiation options below for additional information about that specific service offering.
Option 1: Complete Lead Negotiating Services
Our complete lead negotiating service offers the most comprehensive negotiation support available. This service includes all research required for negotiations (compensation surveys, ability-to-pay studies, costing analyses, turnover studies, etc.). In addition to the negotiation research, we will also serve as your lead negotiator at all negotiation sessions, provide telephone and video conference support between sessions, and even represent you at arbitration if we are unable to reach an agreement through negotiation. All of these services are provided in a turnkey package with the total cost stated up front. There will be no additional charges for travel or other expenses regardless of the duration of negotiations.
Option 2: On-Demand Lead Negotiating Services
Our on-demand negotiating service offers a flexible option for organizations that already have a lead negotiator or wish to do portions of the negotiations on their own. These services are tailored to the individual needs of our client and may include any or all of the services described in our Complete Lead Negotiating Services. This allows us to customize a package to make it affordable to groups of any size.
Option 3: Crisis Negotiating Services
Our crisis negotiating service is available to organizations that have reached a stalemate in negotiations or just don't know what to do next. This service picks up where you left off and fills in any holes that may have been made during the initial negotiation process. We will work to rebuild relationships and resume the negotiation process.
Option 4: Mediation Services
Our mediation service is not necessarily what you would expect it to be. While we can serve as mediators and try to help both sides reach an acceptable agreement after traditional negotiations have failed, it is not necessary to wait until that point to bring us in. We can be hired by both the employer and the employee association at the beginning of negotiations in an effort to avoid confrontational bargaining and to reach an agreement that is trully in the best interest of both sides.
